Official Signatur at TU Graz
Graz University of Technology, like its partners in business, uses modern technologies to fulfill its tasks. The
official signature was introduced in order to execute documents quickly and securely in today's world.
The official signature is the certainty for students that it is an official document of the Student Services. The official signature is displayed at the end of the document as follows:
- with a secured picture mark published on the Internet,
- with the indication that the document has been officially signed,
- with the indication of where to find the verification facility.

Online Verification of Officially Signed Documents
One of the advantages of the official signature is the ease with which its authenticity can be verified. To do this, all you have to do is
upload the document to be verified and you will immediately receive an answer about the authenticity of the document.
Verification of Officially Signed Paper Printouts
The verification is done by submitting the complete printout to the Registration Office of Graz University of Technology. The Registration Office will check whether it is actually a document of Graz University of Technology, the result of the check will be communicated.
The presentation of the printout can be done in the following ways:
- personally at the Registration Office of TU Graz
electronically (scan of the document) by email
- by post (original or copy):
